Needs to be beefed up for offshore use

While the chute portion of the drift anchor appears to be well made the tow line and swivel snap fitting are way undersized. I replaced the line and snap swivel with ones four times the original size. Also there was no trip line supplied as stated in the ad.

- Drogue chute appears to be well made and should do the job.

- Tow line and snap swivel supplied are way undersized.

Broke first drift

Double check harness. Bought the biggest size for boats up to 34’ and used it on a 23’ center console. Even though it was oversized mine broke first drift I tried it out. Wasn’t terribly windy, and it disconnected at the crimp so I got the whole harness back but the sock itself sank like a rock. Haven’t heard back from tackle direct

That is the correct size choice for the boat size you mention. You may need 2 of them if there is very strong wind / current.
