ANDE Tournament 5000 series boat conventional and boat spinning rods deliver high quality IM 6 graphite composite construction in all tubular models. These custom look rods provide full length, high modulus graphite sensitivity in a strong one piece blank.

Both conventional and spinning models can be efficiently fished from rod holders thanks to the full length blank-through-butt design and tough gimbal butt with its removable cushioned protective cap. Full length grips are light and durable EVA foam for years of wear. All reel seats are constructed with corrosion proof graphite and cushioned stainless steel hoods for sure, corrosion proof reel mounting. Aluminum oxide guides are shock mounted on spinning models and light Hardloy style on conventional rods. Highly polished rings are mounted in strong, braced frames and will help line flow while protecting against wear. Attractive nylon thread wraps are protected with high gloss epoxy finish.

An $8.00 oversize packaging charge applies to this item as it ships in a long heavy duty tube to protect your items. This fee will still apply when discount shipping coupons are used.

ORDERED 3 TO MAKE A MATCHED SET, RECIEVED 2
August 27, 2018
I am very happy with 2 of my 3 identical rods ordered.
Still waiting for the 3rd. I would not have ordered these
if I would have known I wont get the 3rd.
Not happy about this at the moment. I suspect they will try
and refund me instead of making it right.
I do not mind the wait. I do want the third rod. I have already
rigged and caught fish on the other two.

I purchased the 6.6' MH Rod. This rod is heavy and thick. It look like a 6.6' Tuna rod! It is The eyes on this rod is not same as in the picture. All the eyes have thick lower and upper support. It is overkill. It will be great if you looking for a small tuna rod.
Pros
  • Long handle
Cons
  • Too thick and heavy

What model of reel is used on this rod
1 Answer
You could use a TLD 20 on this reel. Another solid option would be an Avet MXL. Two great options to use with the ANDE ATC-5661A MH Tournament 5000 Series Conventional Rod.
