can this tool crimp
a 3/16 wire cable ferrule

Hi Sue, 3/16 wire is slightly larger diameter than a #5 wire and the Ancor Heavy-Duty Hex Lug & Terminal Crimper should work with that size. Please let us know if theres anything else we can assist you with. Tight Lines.
