I have put some serious pressure on this swager while crimping and it hasn't broken. Also the jaws line up perfectly still. I just ordered the heavy duty model the HT 450 so I can crimp even larger wires.

Need these if your going after the big boys. These are one of the pairs I carry with me when i'm sharking now and they are fantastic. AFW makes good products all around, and if you need a good swage sleeve crimper i would recommend them.

This seems to be a great tool. Only reason for a 4 star is because I havent got to use the stuff yet that I used this tool to make. The tool seems to be made good and didn't have any problems using the crimp tool.

I purchased these for making shark rigs. Crimping brass/copper sleeves on 49 strand 600# American Fishing Wire as well as some single strand wire with aluminum crimp sleeves. They did the trick no problem. Small enough to bring along in the tackle box and strong enough to get the job done.

Another Poorly made China product

The last set of crimpers I had were stamped Made in Korea and lasted me 5 years. This pair is stamped Made in China and on the first crimp and the broke apart in my hand.
