Description of product was wrong, and still is

OK, I like the light just fine, good product. However, the ad stated that it came with a cigarette plug adapter, which it didn't. TackleDirect offered to take it back. Weeks later, I see they still haven't fixed their ad on their website. Booooooo

Extremely bright LED. I bought a 12 volt battery as a portable power supply. Has to be pulled out of the water and rinsed off with fresh water after each use. I wish it had some kind of a protective case for travel.

While keeping them consistently on that long seems extreme, I don't see a problem. However, I would think turning them off now and then would be the smartest move. They are halogen and get very hot. Here are few recommendations from their website: Notice: These lights use halogen bulbs which burn hot. They must be submerged in water during use. . Just Drop It In the Water and Plug It In! Magnum Lights should always be plugged into a grounded GFCI Outlet that is protected by a circuit breaker or fuse. THIS LIGHT SHOULD NOT BE USED IN SWIMMING AREA'S. For Maximum Brightness, MAGNUM DOCK LIGHTS should be hung from the side of the Dock or Boat. NEVER LAY THE LIGHTS ON THE BOTTOM or they may overheat and be ruined! More Info The lights should be set as high off the bottom as possible, but deep enough to avoid boat traffic and low tide.
