AFW's Stainless Steel Trolling Wire is soft single strand wire carefully annealed for maximum flexibility and strength. The line sinks rapidly allowing the angler to get down deep using shorter lengths of line. It is kink and abrasion resistant and ideal for both fresh and saltwater trolling. 50-80 lb mono just does not cut it with alligator blues

They will tear that line to shreds if your using it as a leader normally, and will lose your lure or rig. This stuff is great for using as a leader to prevent that break off. We usual spot a breaking frenzy of blues and cruise up about 100 feet away and let the leader down about 20 feet and put it in free spool and when we have about 75-100 feet of line out we drive right through them. yes they sometimes get spooked but because the line out is long enough they normally reconvene and take the lure.

works well with regular rig also I can use it with small bucktail jig.
