Super tough Armortex along outer hand and reinforced index finger maximizes protection when wrapping leader on a big fish offshore. The gloves vented foam-backed mesh keeps hands cool and protected, while Spandura forchettes improve dexterity. Perforated neoprene cuff with Velcro closure assures a secure fishing glove fit.

I originally got these as replacement gloves for casting with hopes that it was thick enough to last against braid, but thin enough to still have tactile feel of the braid.
Unfortunately for me the glove is too thick for casting braid. That said, it’s is an outstanding glove and I will be using it during jigging and trolling while leadering the fish in.

This is a nice glove which protects hands and fingers when pulling in lead to gaff a fish.
I am glad I read the previous reviews as was pointed out the gloves do run significantly small. Be sure to order a size bigger than you think you need.

Quality control missing

When I first received I thought this was the glove I needed for offshore fishing, but when I tried them on the right hand glove felt like my index finger had a strong laundry pin pinching down on it. As I turned inside out I saw excessive material beyond stitch line causing the pinching and liner wasn't sewn in some places. Very uncomfortable to wear, liner would have only lasted 1 or 2 wears before complete failure. Left hand glove was fine. I'll return for another pair and review again.
