Absolutely love the Roller Troller Clips. In my opinion they are the BEST option on the market. Clips release smooth and are easily adjusted for release tension. Worth the money.

my old taco clips were unable to hold the sterling spreader bars i purchased. These guys do the job.

I have used these in that past on a buddy's boat. so i purchased for my own but returned for the rupp version since they rupp felt a little better form intended use

The adjusters on the set that I bought are not consistent with once I have purchased in the past. And that the tension adjustments on one was way soft and the other one was more normal and firm.

I have 4 for my outriggers ( 2 each side), very useful .
Very easy to adjust . But don't last long with sunshine...

I swapped these roller releases for the blacks I was running so I could run copper wire and monofilament long lines and dipsy divers on my outriggers in Lake Ontario. These work great for each and haveing the ability to make length adjustments without the line running over the pin on a blacks or similar release is a plus. I would give an extra star if the release was able to work with braid, but the braid will work itself down beside the roller and bind. It would also be better with the addition of a swivel to let the release pivot to align with the pull of the line, however that is an easy remedy.

I have had these on 4 boats. Went to them from the old style clips and never looked back. They allow easy adjustments of bait placement, clearing of weeds and have no wear on the line. They can be adjusted easily for a very light drop or to drag some very heavy lures.

Only rigger clips I will own.
