The Accurate EXTREME rods are constructed of a six-ply graphite glass material that gives the angler both sensitivity and strength while offering a reduced diameter rod that is extremely light.
All the Accurate EXTREME rods feature "Floating Fulcrum Design" a unique fast to slower action that suited for the friendly use of braided lines and will work extremely well with monofilament lines. The harder you pull on these rods, the less stress that is put on the angler, which equates to more pressure on the fish. The rods are extremely powerful, lightweight, and built to make your fishing time more enjoyable.
An $8.00 oversize packaging charge applies to this item as it ships in a long heavy duty tube to protect your items. This fee will still apply when discount shipping coupons are used.

i was extremely happy with this rod light weight perfect combo with my release sg reel and the 7030 model, I don't even hesitate in flipping in 3 lb sea bass with this this rod and then i can go and troll a tube and worm for strippers all in all a great rod I highly recommend it.

Truthfully I have not used thirod yet. It will be used a lot this coming year. Some boat fishing but mainly for Kings off the pier. Rod is designed well, well made and very light weight. I matched it with a Boss FX 500 X reel and this seems to be a very good set up. I debated getting the lighter rod but decided that the extra backbone would help keep the Kings and cobia off the pier pilings better. Tackle direct had all the Accurate Items in stock and reasonabally priced. Tackle direct had them shipped very quickly.

A friend bought the BX7040C. He had the BX Extreme 600 on it and it paired very well. We caught Large bull dorado and 100lb Marlin for 4 days with ease. The rod did all the work and with no rollers. It's light weight and has good action. I was so impress I had to get my own BX7040C. Now when I go to Mexico, I'll bring fewer rods.

Unfortunately this rod has been discontinued and listed as 'Unavailable at this time'. When we had the rod available it was a burgundy red color.
