I loved my first ATD 130 so much I bought a second . The raw power is second to none including everol . The ability to have total adjustability with your drag as the reel goes through the breakin process to having a little wear on the drag washers . It can be adjusted accordingly . That's versitility delivered in a package made with precision . If you want the best look no further than Accurate and Tackle Direct .

Awesome reel smooth drag and plenty of it

I got the ATD-50-LH partly because it is the only reel of this size I can find left hand wind but mostly because of Accurate's impeccable quality and of course the twin drag feature.
The ATD-50 uses two anti-reverse dogs instead of an ant-reverse bearing although it may have that as well. It's been my experience that anti-reverse dogs can be rather loud on retrieve but this reel is the exception. You can barely hear the ticking sound at all even in very quite surroundings.
That was a huge surprise to me and something I REALLY appreciate. These reels are built like tanks. The biggest fish I ever intentionally fish for are yellow fin tuna and I know they simply don't get big enough to be a challenge for the ATD-50. Of course there is always the chance I may hook into a blue fin tuna although that is very rare in the waters I fish and they must be released as well. I went over the cosmetics of the reel very thoroughly and can't find a single blemish or machining mark. It is in fact as cosmetically perfect as any reel gets and I've seen many makes and models. I already bought a pair of budget Fury FX 2 speed in size 60 narrow left for jigging. These are a great deal. I believe my next accurate will be a left retrieve Dauntless in left retrieve size 60 narrow for my personal yellow fin tuna jigging reel. Since all Accurate's models are available in left hand retrieve I won't be buying anything else for heavy jigging.

I own tons of fishing reels, but this is the best big game fishing reel ever made!!! I'm a long range fishermen and when it's time to bring out my Big Boy Gear," an ATD 50T is the way to go. Can't write a review without mentioning Accurate's service. Both there products and service are unmatched. Love my Accurates!!!

Needed a light trolling reel but also can use some live bait fishing without having to get into the 30 size reel so I picked up an ATD12. My first impression upon receiving was how strong it looked. It also felt bullet proof. Great reel with lots of power. Definitely very impressed with it.

The Accurate 130 reel is in a class of its own . It's an amazing reel .

These reels are tanks. I have many different brand large game reels but these ATD's are Top notch!
