New for 2013 - Accurate Fishing Products re-desinged the popular Pliers. They are available in two sizes, a 7- and 8-inch model. The Accurate Offshore Cutters/Pliers are made from aircraft-grade aluminum and will cut virtually all sizes of monofilament line and high-tech braided lines.
The 7-inch model, at 4.8 ounces, is ideal for cutting all sizes of nylon monofilament, plus braided lines and light wire. The 8-inch model, at 5.6 ounces, has greater cutting power and is well suited for mono and all braided lines from “micros” to “super” sizes. Made to last a lifetime, both models have been shop-tested to hold sharpness after hundreds of cuts, leaving no frayed ends in braids down to as thin and light as 30-pound test. Self-coiling lanyard and protective Cordura sheath optional.

I go fishing about every 2 weeks and I heavily use these pliers. Besides the normal wear & tear (Blades dulling) these are a great set of Pliers. My main concern when buy these is the rust factor and the quality behind it, I haven't been disappointed.

I like them, they cut well and have held up to the salt but I wash my stuff with fresh water after almost every time I dunk my bag.

I got tired of going through lower quality pliers, even when they were well cared for. I got these pliers and I have not regretted the choice one bit. Cuts through most line easily. Still tight trip after trip.

These pliers are excellent for your wading belt or on your side in the boat. They close all the way, so small diameter lines not an issue. They will cut braid in one cut.

You canâ€â"¢t go wrong with these pliers.like a gun you want it Accurate and fine tuned. One shot. These pliers are the same, Fish release, hook removal, cutting line , crimping. I love these pliers. Quality built in is evident when you use them. Light weight, Awesome grip. Replaceable jaws and cutters, “ doubt you will replace very often but a nice feature. Spendy yes but you get what you pay for.

Got these pliers with my accurate bv 300. Nice pliers, feel solid but light in the hand. So far cut braid and mono well. Grip feels strong. Will compare to my Manleys which have lasted me almost 15 years.

I really like the weight of these pliers. they fit in the pocket of my fishing shorts, and don't notice them being there. you can tell they are well made, from the machining. I will also say that the cutting edges and tips all lined up perfectly with not gaps. Overall, I am pleased with this purchase.

The jaws that cut line have a big gap in bottom so you need to hold line in middle of cutters to cut line. When i called customer service the rep tells me "i have used many pliers most are like that" Really??? Spend money on Manley or VS this New model is JUNK! old model didn't have gap…not happy!
