Constructed from a revolutionary blend of materials that achieves a lightweight balanced designed with never before seen strength and durability, the Abu Garcia Veracity Spinning Rods are sure to fit the needs of anglers of all skill levels. The Veracity rod series is built on a premium carbon blank with a blend of 30 and 40 ton graphite for a lightweight balanced design and increased sensitivity. The blanks are then coated with a unique 3M Powerlux 300 resin system that achieves a 30% increase in overall strength without adding weight or effecting balance. The use of 3M Powerlux 300 composites greatly improves impact and fracture resistance and will dramatically increase the lifespan of the rod by preventing micro-fractures that eventually lead to breakage. The blanks are fitted with titanium alloy guides with Zirconium inserts that allow for smooth precision casting. A Fuji Soft Touch reel seat leaves a generous portion of the blank exposed increasing sensitivity by transmitting vibrations directly from blank to hand.

unlike the casting, this one is sure to put up big fish on jigs because it is thicker and the rod has more mass.
