The Abu Garcia REVOMGX2-L MGX Baitcasting Reel is the next generation of Abu's Revo MGX reel. This low profile baitcasting reel has set the bar in lightweight and compact performance. This reel features IVCB-4 braking system. This braking system allows practically any adjustments you can think of in casting control. The X-Mag alloy frame and C6 carbon sideplates allows these reels to be so lightweight and strong at the same time.

Abu Garcia REVOMGX2

The Abu Garcia REVOMGX2 is a phenomenal reel. It’s extremely smooth, it cast a mile regardless of line size. I’m definitely going to purchase some more of the Abu Garcia REVOMGX2 reel. Awesome reel hands down.
Pros
- Smooth as butter. It weighs 5 oz even. It can handle any line size.

Best reel I've owned so far

I can outcast any of my friends that use shimanos or lews reels. Really smooth drag and very light. Biggest fish on this reel is a 36" Redfish. Looking to get another one soon.
Pros
- Light, far casting, smooth drag....
Cons
- Freshwater reel. I bbn only fish saltwater. Wish they made the same reel better sealed for saltwater fishing.
