if your looking at this i would recommend a shimano slx or lews speed spool instead. this is decent but not great

What size is the handle? Is it still the 100mm like it used to be? Also what is the purpose of the wide spool, other than the obvious which is more line but it is so much less IPT with no added drag poundage

The Abu Garcia Revo X-W low profile reel has the wide spool for more line capacity at a lower gear ratio for throwing large crankbaits/swimbaits. The handle is 90mm with oversized knobs. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.
