great reel for freshwater large fish. although the drag is just a tad light for putting the stop on a large salmon.
biggest complaint is that the box has a space for a spare spool but does not provide one. I ordered them directly from Abu Garcia and received them in a few days.
the reel handles braid and mono and fluoro. plenty of space for line.
the reel balances well with the 9'-6" rod designed for 12# mono and 1/2 ounce lures: intended use is for a float and jig.
