The MGXTREME generation 2 fishing reels combine SLC spool concept with hybrid ceramic bearings. Awesome bullet proof little reels

We took a few of these to chase peacock bass on the amazon along with a number of the revo beasts and these little reels worked flawlessly. Using 50lb Power Pro we pulled in fish up to 7.5kg which was the largest any of our group got on the trip.
A bit worried about the 14lbs of drag but they performed perfectly even when really maxed out and remained ridiculously smooth.
Have used these for day to day fishing as well for bass and various other species and glad to say that the week we spent beating them up on the Rio Negro did them no harm at all.
I'll definitely be looking at getting a couple more.

Pros
- Castability - like nothing else
- Weight or lack of - makes fishing all day a breeze
- Gear Ratio - the faster the better out there
- Drag Smoothness - can't say much more
Cons
- Max Drag - nitpicking here when thinking about specifically targeting peacocks in the sticks but nothing is prefect right?
