Hi Al, The Abu Garcia Max Pro Baitcast Combos can be used with a wide variety of lures. Soft plastics, jigs, crankbaits, buzzbaits, spinner baits, can all be used with these combos. The most important key is to make sure the lure your casting and using is within the lure rating for the rod your using. Please let us know if theres anything else we can assist you with.
