Extremely well made and durable. Solid construction. Drag adjusts easily, as does magnetic braking system. It's a little heavier and larger than some other competitive products, but worth it for the dependability it provides when fishing for larger fish, and for using bigger baits. This reel can be used for both casting and trolling applications. Parts are easy to obtain from reputable dealers. The product comes with a very detailed parts diagram for those that wish to service and maintain their own reels.

From the information that I have this reel can be made in Taiwan, Sweden, or China. Unfortunately I can't say where the ones we carry are made because we currently do not have any in stock so I can't go look at them.

It might hold 200-225 yards of 30# mono. Maybe 100-150 yards of 50# mono.

Is there a difference between a CS 7000 and a CS 7000 Pro Rocket? Is Pro Rocket stamped into the side plate?

The Pro Rocket has one more bearing than the 7000c. We do not think that it is stamped.

I catfish so I matched it up with an Okuma battle cat this rod can be used for just about any large fresh water fish 60 lbs+ and handles large baits up to 8oz easy
