Hopkins NO=EQLLures are the original HOPKINS Lures. They resemble mullet, sardines, herring or any silver baitfish. NO=EQL Lures have relatively thick bodies. They are heavier then conventional spoons of the same length and can be cast much farther.

With the bucktail they have taken most Fresh and Saltwater Game fish, jigging, casting, and trolling. Hence our claim that they are the "World's Most Versitile Lures." The Hopkins is the go to surfcasting lure when the wind is in your face.

A classic for a reason!

The Hopkins No = is a classic because it's been catching fish forever. I also really like the option of a single hook, since I replace all my trebles with single hooks anyway.

You cant beat a Hopkins for surf fishing blues and stripers
December 10, 2019
You cant beat a Hopkins for surf fishing blues and stripers. Get a heavy one and toss it way out there - and keep on doing it. Most fishermen prefer the single hooks with bucktail.
Pros
  • Heavy, strong, can throw it against the wind and fish in rough surf.
Cons
  • Dont lose it.

Don't like them at all
October 2, 2018
I have used a lot of spoons and jigs in my time, but this id the type that has produced nothing. I have slow trolled them. I have jigged them. I have even thrown them into bluefish blitzes with no luck at all. You are better off getting a different type of metal than this one.

We can't get these in our local tackle stores here in California, so it's a new look for our highly pressured fishery, Thanks Tackle Direct for the hook up!
