Hopkins NO=EQLLures are the original HOPKINS Lures. They resemble mullet, sardines, herring or any silver baitfish. NO=EQL Lures have relatively thick bodies. They are heavier then conventional spoons of the same length and can be cast much farther.

With the bucktail they have taken most Fresh and Saltwater Game fish, jigging, casting, and trolling. Hence our claim that they are the "World's Most Versitile Lures." The Hopkins is the go to surfcasting lure when the wind is in your face.

Junk Rusty Metal
June 16, 2018
I am not sure if Hopkins changed the metal on this spoon. I used a new one for the first time in salt water and rinsed with fresh water within 2 hours after I got home. Started RUSTING the day after, this spoon is more than $10. Seriously, a $2 dollar spoons does not rust this fast and this bad.
Pure JUNK metal.

Favorite Inshore Lure

This is by far my favorite inshore lure for Bass, Blues and Weakfish. Just cast it out and jig/retrieve and it will get hit!

Love the Hopkins - Favorite bucktail to work in hard currents over the sandbar in inlet. The white bucktail with the red streak is killer. Plan to buy replacement trebles and singles with that same dressing. Wish TackleDirect sold them.

This is a classic lure that catches fish. I've hooked fish on these both when jigging on the bottom and retrieving along the surface. This lure especially kills bluefish when they are schooling/blitzing.
