Equipped with a new zero-corrosion Cast Iron Carbon chassis, the TX2 is lightweight, rigid, and capable of handling whatever you may throw at it.  At the reel's core is the BOSS H.A.M. hardened brass precision cut main gear and all-new Advanced Polymer Drag that when combined, will outmatch any snook or bull red that you may come across. The new and improved Low-Friction 6-way braking system will help you achieve perfect casting whether your pitching baits around docks or making extremely long casts to avoid spooking finicky speckled trout. Hi

Looking at the Shimano 300 TransX or the 13 TX2 (both left handed).  Fishing 15lb braid; off the rocks, schoolies and small bluefish.  Paired w/St Croix Inshore casting "legend", the white colored rods..

Thank you,

TT

I would definitely recommend he Shimano Tranx over this reel you although with schoolie bass and blues you dont need anything crazy, the Tranx is less expensive and much more durable and well designed for this saltwater fishing application. It would pair very nicely with the Legend Xtreme inshore you have.
